PCBK Group of Companies, one of Russia’s leading producers of paper and cardboard has officially completed implementation of two large-scale investment projects, which are known as "Power of cardboard" and "Power of paper", which involved modernization of the existing cardboard and paper machines at the plant. Both projects were implemented as part of the memorandum signed by the Government of the Perm Territory, VTB Bank and the company four years ago.
Implementation of these projects were personally controlled by the Perm authorities, particular the governor of Dmitry Makhonin, who recently visited the plant.
According to Makhonin, with the 30% increase of output PCBK managed to significantly reduce the impact on the environment.
According to General Director of PCBK Yuri Markov, as part of the company’s ecology initiatives, a recycling pool was installed, which allowed to reduce the intake of fresh water from the Chusovsky Bay and to reduce the volume of discharges of treated water into the river.
In addition, the modernization of biological treatment facilities, which are involved in production processes is also ongoing. A modern aeration system has been installed, while primary and secondary sedimentation tanks have been reconstructed.
At present "PCBK" is one of the largest vertically integrated companies in Russia, providing a wide range of services: from the procurement and processing of raw materials to the release and sale of finished products.
At the end of 2020, the volume of containerboard production by the company reached 294,000 tons, and the output of corrugated products increased by 11% and amounted to 263 million square meters.
Today, PCBK is one of the TOP-10 largest producers of containerboard and corrugated board products in Russia. The company employs over 2.5 thousand employees.
