The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group is expanding its management team: Jürgen Lemke is now assuming the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Paper division. In this role, he is responsible for the Group's global paper activities, including the paper mills in Weener (Germany), Nova Campina (Brazil), and Strasbourg (France), as well as for supplying paper to the Klingele Group's corrugated board plants.

Lemke succeeds Robert Sieger, who is leaving Klingele after eight years of service to pursue new professional challenges.

A further focus is on the strategic development of the division and the optimization of capacity utilization at the paper mills.

With his many years of experience in managing paper mills and corrugated board plants, Jürgen Lemke brings comprehensive operational and strategic expertise. His previous successes include the integration of new sites, the conversion of production lines for the manufacture of corrugated board base paper, and the introduction of innovative, lightweight paper grades.

"I'm excited by the interplay between paper production and packaging in a family-run business," says Jürgen Lemke. "In particular, cross-departmental collaboration offers great potential for jointly implementing new ideas."

With the appointment of Jürgen Lemke, Klingele is sending a clear signal for the consistent further development of its integrated paper and packaging strategy – with the goal of enhancing synergies, leveraging efficiency potential, and securing long-term competitiveness.
