UK packaging maker Pitreavie Group is investing some £3.8 million (€4.5 million) with the aim to open a new corrugated box factory in Cumbernauld, in Scotland.
The new production facility is to be launched this March, and it will be enabled to make more than 30 million boxes per year, the manufacturer said in a statement.
“A major investment in new equipment will allow the business to step up a gear and provide an even greater level of service for our customers,” said Stephen Heslop, Group Managing Director.
Pitreavie Group is aiming to create some 35 jobs at the new plant.
