Fire hit Burgo's Ardennes mill

A fire broke out last week at Burgo’s Ardennes pulp mill in Belgium. Pulp production has temporarily stopped while paper production remains unaffected, according to Burgo.

Burgo plans to resume production within 14 days. Burgo produces mixed hardwood kraft pulp with a capacity of 360,000 tpy and coated woodfree paper with a capacity of 350,000 tpy at the Ardennes mill.
