Germany’s GapCon has acquired stake in Kresta paper GmbH, a specialist in all aspects paper machine technology including planning, automation and process technology.
Kresta paper, founded in February 2014, was part of Kresta Industries. Post acquisition, Kresta paper GmbH will be rebadged as GapCon paper GmbH and will become an independent member of the GapCon group.
“GapCon has earned a reputation in the industry for delivering high quality, customer focused solutions. Striving always to meet and exceed customer needs GapCon has pursued a robust growth strategy opening or acquiring bases in Italy, India and China,” according to the company statement.
The acquisition will enable GapCon to strengthen position in the paper machine business and cater to customers’ needs across the globe.
