At the event Företagargalan in Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden, the company Processum won two prestigious awards, “Årets Miljöföretag” (eg. the Environmental company of the Year) and its CEO Clas Engström received the prize “Årets företagsledare” (The CEO of the Year). This year Processum celebrates its 10th anniversary, and the awards were considered as birthday gifts.
The Swedish company Processum Biorefinery Initiative AB is a company owned by its members and its task is to pilot biorefinery developments in Sweden from forest raw materials into bio fuel or other products. The company was founded in 2003 as a technology park, and it has become a leading biorefinery initiative regognized at both national and international levels.
