Acosense will relaunch its product concept Acospector at the Swedish trade fair Processteknik, which is held in Gothemburg, October 9-11.

In comparison to the previous product, the new one has new hardware, designed to give customers a more enjoyable experience when they are installing and operating it. The software has also been customized, and three new software products have been added:

· RealVi ® - for measuring viscosity

· RealTS ® measuring dryness

· RealSA ® for the measurement of particle size distribution

Acospector is an instrument that utilizes sound to characterize different industrial fluids in real time without being in direct contact with them. Thus, Acospector provides a completely non-contact measurement.

The new version of Acospector features more compact electronic devices, resulting in more space for installation. Each instrument is now equipped with two Ethernet ports to enable point-to-point connection of instruments, allowing connection over longer distances. A new module has been added that directly sends a control signal over the communications protocol Profibus DP.

The new separate compartment for the connection of cables minimizes exposure of critical components during installation. The previous RJ45 contact for Ethernet connection has been replaced by a more manageable and flexible terminal, which allows more consistent connection of cables, and also gives more space in the box.
