Lithuania’s Grigeo undergoes organisational overhaul

New development Lithuanian cardboard maker Grigeo has announced that, in May, In May, it plans to rebrand from Grigeo AB to Grigeo Group AB. The company’s existing tissue paper business is being transferred to the firm’s subsidiary, Grigeo Tissue UAB as a set of assets, rights, and liabilities. 

 

The tissue paper subsidiary “will be managed together with the tissue mill in Poland, which was acquired on March 28 of this year,” Grigeo said in a statement.

 

"Our business operates in a dynamic environment, and to be more efficient and competitive, we need to continuously respond to changing market needs. I believe that this structural step will significantly strengthen our position in tissue paper production and will allow us to ensure even more efficient operations," said Tomas Jozonis, the CEO of Grigeo AB.

 

Most recently, Grigeo announced that it has secured the BRCGS Packaging Materials Level A certificate. 

 

"This assessment proves that the company's packaging meets all quality and safety requirements," the manufacturer said in a statement.
