Sales on the rise Central Europe’s leading tissue producer Velvet Care has posted improved financial results for last year, as indicated by a senior company representative.
Artur Pielak, the president of the company’s management board and its chief executive, said in a statement that the year 2023, which marked Velvet Care’s 10th anniversary, was a very positive one for the tissue producer.
“The celebratory year of 2023 turned out to be a record-breaking one! We achieved the highest business results in volume, turnover, and profitability – both in Velvet Care and Moracell,” the executive said.
“For the first time in history, we reached a spectacular turnover scale of nearly 1.5 billion Polish zlotys! This is over 7 times more than 10 years ago when we started our journey as an independent company,” according to Pielak.
This figure translates into an annual revenue of about $370 million.
