Burgo and Lecta have informed their customers of imminent price increases of 5-7 per cent for both coated and uncoated woodfree sheets and reels, Euwid reports
Burgo announced it wanted to charge more from April for European deliveries, while higher prices would immediately apply to all new overseas orders.
Lecta said the new price would be effective for deliveries from 20 April in all European markets.
Previously, Sappi announced price increases of 5 to 8 per cent for European and export markets.
According to Euwid, experts now expect other suppliers will follow up with similar announcements.
