Kimberly-Clark will invest US$120 million and add more than 50 full-time jobs in an expansion of its tissue paper mill in Jenks, Oklahoma, according to Pulp & Paper Canada.
The facility manufactures a range of tissue products including Cottonelle and Scott toilet paper. The company plans to build another 25,000 square metres (270,000 square feet) of plant space by 2020, incorporating new technologies to produce Kleenex tissue and Scott bath tissue.
Despite the expansion, the company will still close plants in Wisconsin and Arkansas over the next two years.
