The Yaroslavskaya Paper company, one of Russia’s largest paper producers, will significantly increase its production capacities this year, due to the ever recovering demand for paper in the Russian market, according to recent statements, made by the company and a spokesman of the Yaroslavl regional authorities.

As part of the investment project, the company plans to significantly expand its existing capacities for the production of paper and cardboard and to conduct their modernization.

Implementation of the project will be part of a contract, signed between the company and the Yarolslavl authorities during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Russia’s most important annual business event for the expansion of the plant.

The volume of investments in the project is estimated at RUB 1 billion (US$15 million), most of which is expected to be allocated from the own sources of the company.

As of now, the company has already dismantled the old equipment and began installation of new ones.

So far, the Yaroslavl authorities have already promised the investor to provide all the needed benefits for implementation of the project.
