By the end of May, Italy's paper and packaging group Pro-Gest received all permits necessary to start production at the company's 405,000 tpy recycled corrugated case material (RCCM) mill in Mantua, Euwid reports.
However, it would take three more months before paper production at Pro-Gest's subsidiary Cartiere Villa Lagarina in Mantua is up and running. The group was planning to start production in September, Pro-Gest announced.
Mantua RCCM mill is anticipated to produce recycled fibre-based fluting and liner grades in basis weights of 70-160 g/m².
