US paper maker to boost paper packaging production

Project expanded U.S. paper producer Verso has unveiled plans to fur-ther boost its recycled paper packaging production capacity.

 

Last August, the business announced it planned to convert a part of its paper mill in Duluth, in the U.S. state of Minnesota, from making writing and printer papers to manufacturing recycled paper packaging, eyeing a capacity of 48,000 tonnes per year, according to the information obtained by local news site Resource-recycling.com. Meanwhile, the company re-cently said that the project’s production capacity would be nearly doubled to some 90,000 tonnes per year.
