Kruger Energy Montérégie L.P., affiliated to Kruger Energy Inc, announced recently the creation of a Follow-up Committee for the Montérégie Wind Project, in order to further ensure its commitment to work in collaboration with local communities. The Follow-up Committee will consist in twelve members representing the community’s socio-economic, environmental, agricultural and municipal settings, as well as citizens of municipalities concerned by the project and representatives of landowners who have signed options with KÉMONT.
The committee mandate will be to inform KÉMONT in an advisory capacity of concerns expressed by various stakeholders in the area, and to make recommendations that may promote the harmonious and collaborative cohabitation between the Project and the host environment.
