Mondi Akrosil LLC has received regulatory clearance and therefore successfully completed the previously announced deal with Nitto Americas regarding their facility (to be named Mondi Pleasant Prairie) in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
The new state-of-the-art facility strengthens Mondi´s offering for specialised release liner in North America and provides ample room for expansion. Mondi Pleasant Prairie adds nearly 450 million square metres of highly competitive capacity and provides ample room for expansion. With now three release liner facilities in Wisconsin and Ohio, Mondi continues to optimise synergies between the plants while at the same time shortening development cycles due to improved focus on individual technical expertise in each plant.
