SCA expands bowling green site

SCA has invested 50 million USD with the addition of up to 65 new positions to the Bowling Green site, Kentucky, USA. The plant will manufacture TENA incontinence care products for retail (Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS etc.) and healthcare institutions.

"The new incontinence products produced in Bowling Green as a result of the expansion will be sold in retail outlets and to healthcare facilities across the United States and Canada," says Sune Lundin, President of SCA Americas.

The project includes both the expansion of an existing manufacturing line for light incontinence products and the start of new manufacturing capabilities for Tena products

The investment will add 89,000 square feet to the existing SCA plant in Bowling Green. Currently SCA employs 180 people at the site.
