On June 11, 2010 the 8th user workshop for the clients of the ERPA 2D 3D CAD CAM software VERPAK VPACK® took place at the Hotel Freizeit In in Göttingen. Various speeches dealt with topics such as innovations and functions in VERPAK VPACK®, in particular the V10, company-specific standards, extension throughout the cutter-workflow, real-time visualizations with 3D-PDF and the newly integrated surface editor as well as the entire workflow from the design of the packaging to digital printing. Afterwards the participants could practice their acquired knowledge in small groups during the construction training at desks with more than 30 TERRA computers. This also enabled the participants for a trade-off with eachother. The highlight of the day was the excursion to the head office of ERPA Systeme GmbH which included a live manufacture of packaging by an Océ Arizona 250GT flatbed printer and Zünd’s advanced flatbed cutter G3-L2500.
In the evening, the 120 participants took advantage of the opportunity to together deepen the topics of the workshop, to give suggestions and ask questions to the ERPA-team
