Torraspapel's PEFC certified CreatorSilk paper was selected for this new publication that addresses the main questions faced by graphic arts companies faced with a forestry certification process.
Torraspapel, part of the Lecta Group, along with some of the major certifying companies and the most widely recognized certification programs, has collaborated in launching this new initiative of the Madrid Association of Graphic Arts Enterprises (AGM) and the Madrid Graphic Arts Technology Center (CIT). Its aim is to analyze forestry certification systems and the chain-of-custody certification process from the viewpoint of a graphic arts company.
In its commitment to a sustainable future, Torraspapel supports numerous initiatives that contribute to limiting the environmental impact of its activity, including, most notably, obtaining multi-site PEFC and FSC forestry certifications for all of its papers, thereby guaranteeing the sustainable origin of the wood used as raw material. All the Group’s mills also hold ISO 9001 quality certification and ISO 14001 environmental management certification, as well having passed the strict environmental audits required by the European Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).
