Poland’s Akomex to expand cardboard packaging plant

Polish cardboard packaging maker Akomex has unveiled plans to add a new production hall at its plant in Starogard Gdański, in Poland’s northern region of Pomorskie.

The factory is located in the Pomorska special economic zone (PSSE) which will provide Akomex with preferential tax treatment for its manufacturing project.

In addition to this, Akomex has declared it will maintain its existing workforce of 148 in Starogard Gdański for a period of at least five years following the launch of its investment.

The new production hall is to be launched in late 2017.
