Chinese Sinomach enterprise is considering building a large pulp and paper mill in the Russian Irkutsk region, according to Boris Titov, Enterpreneur's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation.
According to him, in recent months cooperation of Russia and China in the field of timber processing has significantly strengthened, one of which involves building of a large pulp and paper mill in the Irkutsk region, one of the largest cities in Siberia.
Titov said that Chinese investors are expanding their participation in investment projects in Russia.

"They come with their own equipment, construction capacities and their own design. They have always have Russian partners, which cover part of the financing and technological support».
