Arkhangelsk PPM to invest up $110 million in technical modernization

Arkhangelsk PPM, one of Russia’s largest pulp and paper mills, plans to invest up to 3.7 billion rubles (US$110 million) in the technical modernization of its production facilities during the next several years, according to a press-service of the plant.

As part of these plans, a particular attention will be paid for the modernization of the production of cardboard. In January-February 2015 Arkhangelsk PPM will modernize part of the grid board machine №1,  while in April modernization of grind-preparatory department of the machine will be completed.

It is planned that the most significant investment project for the company in 2015 will involve the commissioning of a new plant for the production of hemicellulose worth about 3 billion rubles (US$90 million).
