Delion to restart production in Voreppe, France

The new owner of Vertaris mill in Voreppe, France, might restart operations in mid-2015, according to Euwid.

After the installation of a pulp dryer, production of deinked pulp would then be resumed. Delion France has acquired a pulp dryer from the Lielahti mill made idle by Metsä Board in 2008.

Delion will produce about 140,000 tpy of deinked market pulp for the printing and writing, paperboard and tissue markets to start with, according to Euwid, adding that the re-opening of the mill create 70 jobs.

Delion France is a subsidiary of  the Swiss investment firm Springwater Capital.
