Indian paper manufacturer, N. R. Agarwal Industries, has installed a new stock preparation system from Voith at its new mill in Sarigam in the state of Gujarat. The delivery from Voith included the automation technology, engineering, assembly and start-up.
Voith’s IntensaDrum SD 35 is part of the stock preparation system at Agarwal Industries. “The IntensaDrum SD 35 is a part of the BlueLine equipment family and the first one of this type that has been in operation in India,” according to the company statement.
N. R. Agarwal Industries established the new paper mill with annual production capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes of paper at Sarigam to meet the rising demand for graphic paper in the Indian market.
