The American Forest & Paper Association released its September 2014 Kraft Paper Report which said total Kraft paper shipments were 126.8 thousand tons, 5.6 percent higher than last month.
Bleached Kraft paper shipments increased from 8.7 thousand tons in August to 11.4 in September, while unbleached Kraft paper shipments increased from 111.4 thousand tons to 115.4.
Overall, shipments for the first nine months of 2014 were 3.1 percent lower than the same period last year.
Total month-end inventories decreased 1.2 percent compared to August.
