Andritz has launched a new belt press for dewatering in municipal and industrial applications.
The belt press is based on low-profile design and flexible modular construction, its size and weight has been reduced by around 50 percent each compared to the previous machine generation. The new belt press reduces investment costs for the customers.
“With an overall height of only 150 cm, the gravity zone is at the ideal working height, resulting in reduced time and costs for operating and maintenance work, as well as increasing the availability of the machine,” according to the company.
Andritz launched the belt press at WEFTEC trade fair in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
