Asia Pulp & Paper Group (APP), an Indonesian pulp and paper manufacturer, is expanding its logistical and warehousing hub covering an area of 10,000 square metres at the Port of Antwerp, Belgium. The capacity expansion will enable APP to supply graphic and speciality paper to its customers across Northern Europe with lead times of 7-10 days in order ranges of 5-25 tonnes.
Danilo Benvenuti, Regional Sales Director, APP said: “One of APP’s fundamental goals is to support our customers in growing their businesses profitably. Therefore, we are pleased to be introducing greater product availability and shorter lead times.”
Benvenuti added: “As a result of our shorter lead times, our customers will be able to reduce their stockholding requirements and free up cash flow, something we believe is a critical advantage in today’s competitive market.”
In addition to Belgium, APP has logistical and warehousing hubs with 10,000 square metres of capacity in Italy and 3,000 square metres of capacity each in Spain and Latvia. The capacity of more than 26,000 square metres will facilitate APP to cater to customers across Europe and Russia.
