At the end of March, a three days seminar will take place in Paris, on the topic of “Wet-End Paper/Tissue Chemistry”. The event will be organized by IBC Paper Training (a French company founded in 2006 and specialized in organizing trainings for pulp, paper and tissue makers from all over the world). The seminar, held in English, wants to gather together paper and tissue makers coming from all over the world. The subject is very specific: how to improve wet-end paper/tissue chemistry to reduce the total operating costs.
The lectures will be given by several consultants, all specialized in their field: Per Sundblad from Sweden (Sundblad Paper Chem Consulting AB), Thad Maloney from Finland (Aalto University), Leon Joore from Netherlands (Millvision B.V.) and Inge Loosvelt from Belgium (Buckman).
The participants are guaranteed to learn a lot of useful information about the approached topic, due to the high level of theoretical and practical knowledge of the lecturers who will focus each on very specific parts of the general subject. During this seminar, the participants will acquire important know-hows about 1- the tools that enable you to take in control of your WE chemistry, 2- the solutions to improve chemistry efficiency and increase productivity cost and 3- the impact of each chemical on the paper’s properties and on the machine’s runnability.
