Due to the increasing demand for fibre based packaging based on renewable materials, Stora Enso Speciality Papers broadens its MediaSet basis weight offering. MediaSet is nowavailable in basis weights of 80, 90 and 100 gsm.
Specially developed for high-speed-converting, the paper is optimised for the production ofpackaging wrappers for e.g. confectionery as well as for labelling of cans and jars. Brandowners, printers, packers and fillers take advantage of a number of important properties of thissized, one side coated paper.
The high-white, glossy surface of MediaSet, in conjunction with an outstanding offset printability,supports a high quality and freshness emphasized product presentation at the Point of Sale (POS). The high bulk, excellent runnability and very good glue adhesion allow high and highestspeed in printing, converting, packaging and labelling lines. This makes MediaSet also aneconomical choice for packaging production and labelling.
MediaSet, especially suitable for the production of food packaging, is produced at Stora Enso Uetersen mill, Germany.
