Danish paper manufacturer Dalum Papir, a subsidiary of Arjowiggins, will closed down its PM 6 at its mill in Odense, Denmark. The closure will be effective at the end of the year.
About 430 employees are affected.
The move is a result of the tough conditions facing the paper industry, in particular graphic paper where the market has been contracted by 6 per cent every year.
Following the closure of Dalum Papir, there will be only one paper mill in Denmark, according to Papernet.
