Toscotec announces the beginning of the first TT SYD-18FT manufacturing in its specialized workshop in Marlia, Lucca, Italy.
Thanks to the large diameter and the performances of the patented Toscotec TT SYD design, it will be possible to reach the production speed of 1800 m/min with steam heated hoods. The paper machine overall energy consumptions are far below compared to the today’s standards.
The TT SYD-18FT will be delivered to an undisclosed customer at the end of the year and it will be started up in the first quarter of 2013.
