Project could be scrapped Estonian Minister of Public Administra-tion Jaak Aab has announced the planned investment to build a pulp mill on the shore of the Emajõgi River in Estonia’s southern part could be cancelled.

The project, developed by Est-For Invest, is estimated to be worth about €1 billion.

"No decision as to where the plant will be located has been initiated, and it is only in the course of this process that the prospective loca-tions are to be selected, where the negative impacts would be as minimal as possible and positive ones as great as possible," Aab said, as reported by local broadcaster ERR
