Crown Van Gelder proudly announces its latest investment is a Soft Calender for Paper Machine 1 which is part of an investment program totalling EUR 20m in the past 2 years. This Soft Calender is supplied by Andritz Küsters GmbH from Germany and is being installed during January.
The new Soft Calender provides improved smoothness of the paper surface and it enables the company to further strengthen our market position in High Speed Inkjet, Label and Packaging papers. It also adds flexibility in the production cycles on Paper Machines 1 & 2 for the product portfolio.
