Czech paper machine producer Papcel a.s. is completing a procurement worth some CZK 1.1 billion (€42.2 million) under which it is to supply a new paper machine to Russia’s Majak-Technocell.
Under the plan, the paper machine is to be installed at the company’s plant in Penza, in Russia’s western part. The new machine will produce decor paper, according to the information obtained by local daily Denik.
Set up in 1950 and based in Litovec, in the Czech Republic’s east, Papcel is operated by a workforce of about 280.
