Following job cuts at its Augsburg and Steyrermühl facilities due to paper machine closures, UPM Paper recently announced further rationalisation measures. More than 100 jobs might be eliminated in several of UPM's European sites, according to Euwid.

The plan concerns Supply, Customer Service, Sales, and Technical Customer Service teams. The measures will reportedly have no impact on production at the sites. UPM Paper currently has 8,000 employees in Europe and North America.
