Romanian firm MG Tec Industry is planning to invest some €80 million in constructing a new tissue paper factory in Dej, in the country’s north-western part.
The company, which is controlled by local businessman Vasile Hasmasan, has secured an investment grant of some €32 million from the Romanian state, according to the information obtained by local news site Romania-Insider.com. Additional funds will be loaned to MG Tec Industry by two Romania-based banks, CEC Bank and Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR).
Under the plan, construction work on the project is to begin this year, and the plant is to be opened in 2023
