Holmen UNIQ and Holmen UNIQ Extra are produced from wood fibres that are used for the first time in a termomechanical pulping process (TMP). The stiffness and elasticity of the fresh fibres give the papers a strong advantage: the higher bulk.Thanks to the bulky properties, the paper is more voluminous and weighs less while remaining the qualities that come from thickness. The paper can be used in a lower grammage, and it's available from 37 gsm. It still lives up to the same quality aspects when it comes to opacity as well as image and colour reproduction.
