German group to launch new corrugated cardboard plant

New investment Germany's Progroup has unveiled plans to build a new plant in Sandersdorf-Brehna, in Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt. Construction work is to start in the first quarter of 2019, and it is to be completed in the second half of 2020, the manufacturer said in a statement.

Progroup’s new PM3 paper machine will make corrugated cardboard, and it will have an annual capacity of 750,000 tonnes per year, ac-cording to data released by the company.

In addition to Progroup’s facilities in Germany, the company owns subsidiaries in the UK, France, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
