Kruger Products to build new TAD tissue plant in the US

Canadian Kruger Products has unveiled plans to construct a new state-of-the-art tissue facility in the western United States, a major investment designed to support the company's fast-growing U.S. consumer tissue business. The announcement accompanied the company's third-quarter financial release.

The new plant will feature a through-air-dry (TAD) tissue machine, together with converting lines.

The TAD machine will have an annual production capacity of approximately 75,000 metric tonnes and is estimated to start production in 2028.

According to the company, the site selection process will be announced at a later date.

Kruger Products is Canada's leading manufacturer of quality tissue products for household, industrial and commercial use.
