Polish cardboard packaging specialist to open new facility

New manufacturing project Polish cardboard packaging maker Karton-Pack has obtained a permission to open a new factory in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, located in the country’s south-western part. 

 

As part of its production project, Karton-Pack is to invest about PLN 4 million (US$1 million) to build a new facility and purchase new machinery to make cardboard packaging, according to the information obtained by local news site Walbrzyszek.com. 

 

Opening the designed facility in the special economic zone will provide Karton-Pack with preferential tax treatment for its investment. In return, the company will be required to maintain a declared number of jobs for a determined period of time.

 

Set up in 1997, Karton-Pack is based in Michałowice, in the country’s south-western of Lower Silesia.
