India may consider the increase the supplies of raw materials for the needs of Russian paper and consumer packaging industries, as Russia experiences a serious shortage of such products due to Western sanctions.
According to some Russian and foreign media reports, representatives of Russian authorities have called the Indian government to begin the supplies of these products in the shortest period of time, as Russia experiences a big shortage of them.
So far, most of raw materials for the needs of Russian paper sector has been imported from abroad, however after February, 24 2022, most of these supplies were suspended.
It is planned, the beginning of supplies from India will allow at least partially solve the problems of Russia in this sector,
