Dutch Solidus Solutions has announced price increases for board and board packaging from 1 June 2021.
According to Euwid, a price increase for all solid board and coreboard grades by €30/t and consequently all converted solid board packaging products by 3.5 per cent, will both be effective for deliveries as of 1 June 2021.
“The price increase is in response to stepped up inflation of fibre-based input costs, lining papers, chemicals, energy, freight and packaging supplies. While Solidus Solutions has been working intensively for years to continuously reduce internal production costs, the inflationary increase in procurement costs over the last 6 months unfortunately made this decision inevitable,” said Dieter Bergner, CEO of Solidus Solution, as quoted by Euwid.
