The government of Turkmenistan plans to create conditions for the increase of the volumes of waste paper processing within the territory of the country in the next several years, according to recent statements, made by an official spokesman of the Turkmen government and some local media reports.
As part of these plans, a particular attention will be paid for the increase of capacities of «Toprak" – the only Turkmen enterprise, which specializes on waste paper processing. Technical details of the project are not disclosed.
In the meantime, in addition to waste paper processing, as part of the plans of the Turkmen government is stimulating paper production in the country, including those of innovative types.
One of them is the eco-friendly wrapping craft paper, which production is currently carried out by a leading local producer in this field – Yedidogan enterprise.
