Koehler Paper replaced coating plant of the PM 5 in Oberkirch

According to Euwid, Koehler Paper has upgraded the coating plant of the PM 5 at its Oberkirch mill in southern Germany. The company produces carbonless copy paper and other specialities on PM5.

The entire coating plant including the non-contact drying section as part of the upgrade, which was carried out in August 2020. Koehler Paper has invested €10m in the ugrade.

Improvements are already visible with respect to reel and profile quality as well as process stability, Koehler Paper reports.
