Delfort group's Czech subsidiary OP Papírna has started up the new PM 6 at its pulp and paper mill in Olšany, Euwid reports. OP Papírna in Olšany produces thin printing paper and cigarette paper grades.
The comissioning of the PM 6 was expected for early this year but the project ran into delays due to Covid 19 restrictions.
The PM 6 will specialise in making thin printing paper, but the equipment and design also allowed for the production of other specialty paper grades, according to Euwid.
