SAGA, Metsä Tissue’s top-end brand for home cooks and professional chefs worldwide, recently announced the launch of a revolutionary new product concept: One-Up.
This ingenious invention combines the convenience of the classic pop-up tissue box with SAGA’s unique range of high-performance baking and cooking papers. Put the two together and you have a pioneering one-hand dispenser that makes cooking easier, faster and more fun than ever.
"We all know how handy it is to use a pop-up tissue box. Now imagine the same in the kitchen. As soon as a sheet is pulled out, the next one appears automatically. The sheet can be removed from the dispenser with just two fingers, offering greater convenience and hygiene. As the sheets are optimally folded and do not curl, they are extremely easy to handle," describes Mari Lappi-Kaipio, VP Marketing, Baking and Cooking Business.
"SAGA One-Up products are offered in three dispenser formats tailored for different applications. The small Bistro size is designed for contact grills in convenience food outlets whereas the medium-sized sheet is suitable for Aroma cooking and serving in full-service restaurants. The largest One-Up sheet fits GN 1/1 sized trays and dishes and is ideal for catering businesses," she adds.
SAGA One-Up products will be available in Russian, Polish and Finnish retail stores from 2012 onwards and for professional users from the last quarter of this year onwards via Metsä Tissue’s SAGA team.
