Thiele Kaolin Company announced recently that Andy Crabb was named Vice President of Technical Resources at the company’s April 20, 2011, board meeting. Crabb graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1988. Since joining Thiele that same year, he has held various positions in Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Operations Management and Technical Resources.
As Vice President of Technical Resources, Crabb is responsible for Research and Development, the Paper Research and Applications Laboratory, Process Engineering, the Company’s ISO system and various regulatory affairs duties.
