National Envelope, an affiliate of The Gores Group, recently announced that Ken Winterhalter has been named Chief Executive Officer.
Winterhalter, who most recently served as President of Sales for Unisource Worldwide, a leading distributor of paper products and other supplies, has more than 17 years of leadership in the industry. Winterhalter has a history for delivering market growth, operational efficiencies and bottom-line performance and is highly proficient in business turnarounds, change management practices and team building effectiveness at all levels of an organization.

As President for Unisource Worldwide, Winterhalter provided the strategic direction and P&L leadership for the company’s U.S. paper, packaging, equipment and facility supply businesses. During his tenure there, he championed a successful effort to create a long-term strategic plan. Utilizing performance tools to provide metrics around key performance indicators, he not only exceeded the business’ EBITDA plan and generated greater cash flow through effective working capital management, but he also transformed the organization into a performance-based culture. Prior to joining Unisource Worldwide, he spent six years with Equibank, a financial institution headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Winterhalter has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business and received his BSBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
