T.CON GmbH and Greycon Ltd. have integrated a Greycon trim optimization system ReTrim into T.CON’s Manufacturing Execution System MES CAT.
MES CAT collects data during the production process that give a deep insight into the production and the quality of the product in real-time. Defects and quality variations are detected instantly. ReTrim uses the information to work out how to combine orders on a winder so as to achieve certain objectives such as waste minimization and the high quality of the ordered products. This process is also known as HotTrim or QualityTrim.
