Södra launches solid pinewood panelling

Pre-stained panelling frees customers from the inconvenience of having to surface finish the panelling themselves, and the factory-stained panelling boards are uniform and of the highest quality. Interior stylist Lotta Agaton, who works a great deal with Södra Interiör’s products, says of the new launch:

"The black panelling has an ultra modern feel to it and is a new way of using wooden panelling. Falu black is incredibly popular as an exterior finish – this new product will be an attractive equivalent for home interior use."

A wise choice from the point of view of the environment, the product is manufactured in Blekinge from solid wood, grown locally in Swedish forests. The raw materials are renewable and the product will last for generations.

Södra Interiör’s sales manager, Peter Gustafsson, says:

"At Södra Interiör, we focus a great deal on being innovative. Our aim is to retain the tradition of using wood within the home, while allowing the products to keep up with the times, so that something as classic as a wooden floor, or our new black-stained panelling, can either create, or follow a contemporary trend."

Each section of panelling measures 13x120 mm and is tongued and grooved. The panelling is easy to assemble using clips. Currently stocked in all Bauhaus’ stores in Sweden, the panelling can also be purchased from several other building suppliers who either keep it in stock or take orders for the product.
